I’ve had the SR-5S for a few months now and it has been a great tool for getting around town and is holding up really well. Construction is solid, especially for the price and I like the fact that the tires require ZERO maintenance. The dual brake system is a huge plus and if you have ever been on a scooter with just one brake then you know how big of a deal this is.
Battery:
Time will tell in regard to “long term” battery life but so far it has held solid giving me same range with every charge with over two months of constant use. I am glad Shell was smart enough to place the battery below the footplate, The idea of placing batteries in the stem just doesn’t work for me, It’s a balance thing.

Great scooter that is really easy to ride. The balance is really nice and the acceleration is smooth. It is also easy to carry when needed and not as heavy as I thought it might be. Very solid escooter.

I tried out a bunch of scooters and this one is my favorite. It is plenty fast, and runs for hours. Compared to some of the other scooters the ride is smoother. Kind of like the difference between a regular car and more of a luxury car. It comes with a Bluetooth app that has some extra info and controls, but you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. I usually just jump on and go. No real complaints. Probably should give it 5 stars, but I want to leave Shell some room to make it even better.

Excellent scooter,got a couple hundred miles racked on the odometer now, I’m pretty much at the max weight capacity and it still pulls very well! Would like to see some accessories perhaps tires? Kinda looks like the front tire is definitely getting some wear but works very well
